Emmanuel NewLife Fellowship Church History

Emmanuel Tabernacle was birthed in the heart of Pastor Stiggers in 1985, but it wasn’t started until January of 1986 in Rockwall, Texas, with his wife and their two children and his mother-in-law, Willie Mae Hunt.

With much prayer and fasting, people began to come from near and far. Many new souls joined the church, even family members. As prayer and fasting continued, the Lord led Pastor Stiggers to make another move. The Church moved to Dallas, Texas in 1994. Not only that, but the Lord gave him a name change. The church is now named Emmanuel NewLife Fellowship. The church now has several out reach ministries: a back to school supply ministry, Christmas toys ministry, and associate with Buckner shoes for orphan souls. However, God is not finished with Emmanuel yet. God has called Emmanuel to be a great church with a vision to preach the gospel to the lost and dying world.
